How can I see which store(s) an item is available in?
Once you have clicked on the item, the map on the right hand side will automatically display where it is available.
How authentic is the content on the website?
100% authentic! The content is either uploaded by brands themselves or by our team who collect it straight from the stores.
How often is the content updated?
When a brand is controlling its own page - as soon as they have new items! When the page is maintained by us - 2-3 times a week, or more.
Are the items listed on the website always in the stores?
Not necessarily. It is important to look when the item was uploaded. For example, items uploaded on Monday may not necessarily be in store by the following Friday. Unfortunately, brands sometimes forget to delete outdated items. Even though we are trying to prevent this, we still advise users to consider when items were uploaded.
Will more brands be added to the website?
Yes! We are constantly adding new brands to the website. We hope to add five to eight new brands per month.
Can I request a brand to be added to the website?
Currently, it is not possible to request a brand to be added. However, we would be very happy to hear from you, so please send us an email including your recommendation!
What happens when i Follow a brand?
If you follow a brand you will receive notifications via web (My Feed) & mobile any time there will be anything new in this brands store(s). The app will also alert you when you will be physically close to your favorite store.
What is a 'Shopping List'?
An exciting feature, letting you keep track of all the items you like in one place. Simply press the heart icon next to any item to instantly add it to your Shopping List, located on your 'Home' page.
How Does 'My Feed' work?
My Feed displays the latest sales, deals and new arrivals from the brands that you follow.
How do I stop following a brand?
Simply click the star icon again. When the star icon is no longer yellow - you are no longer following the brand.
How do I delete items from my Shopping List?
Press the heart icon located next to each item. When the heart icon is no longer red - the item is no longer in your Shopping List.
Will my personal information be shared with any third parties?
WeLikeShopping may share anonymous information, such as age or gender, to our private partners for statistical research. Please be assured that no further information relating to your real identity will ever be shared with third parties.
How does 'In The News' work?
In The News is a collaboration of trending articles, fashionable looks, exiting events and hot activities, to help you discover new brands and stay up-to-date with the news about your favourite ones.
How can I unsubscribe from the mailing list?
In each email from us, there will always be a link letting you unsubscribe at any time.
What is a deal?
A deal would usually represent a bargain, not to be confused with the sale. Typical deals would usually be: Buy 1 get 1 Free; Buy 2 for $20; have a $25 off when you spend a $100 or more.
Are all locations featured for every brand?
Usually all the store locations for a given brand will be featured. Currently this will apply for the greater London area, but we will be looking to expand the area in the near future.
How does “My Feed” work?
“My Feed” is the feed of all the activities from the brands that you have in your favorites. Activities are sorted by date added and therefore the older ones will always be at the bottom. As soon as the activity is deleted from the brand’s page it will automatically be deleted from “My Feed” as well.
Can i follow a particular store?
Yes. To do that you have to go onto that brand’s page and next to each location (bottom right) you will see a “star” button, just like the one that lets you follow a brand. However here that button lets you follow that particular location, meaning that you will only get notified whenever there will be any updates at that store, not any others.
How/When should i post activities?
To add a new activity, press the big + button right underneath the “Activity Feed” heading. Specify the description of the activity (i.e 50% sale on leather belts), the store(s) at which it is taking place, select if it’s a sale, a deal or a new collection and attach a picture of that item if you want. Click “Save” and the activity will appear on the top of your wall. Ideally store managers or employees should update the page whenever their are any new activities in any of their stores.
How can i give access to multiple employees?
If your brand is represented by multiple stores across the city we can give out different usernames/passwords for each location if you want to. Therefore employees and store managers of one store will not be able to change activities for other stores. Logging in with a username attached to a particular store will allow employees of that store to only edit the information regarding that specific location. Master passwords will be given out to more senior members if required.
How to get featured in “In the News”?
In our “In The News” section we feature the most trending news, exiting events and promotions about our brands. Every brand has an option to create their own News post, which will be featured on their page along with the news (on a separate tab). However if you want your News promotion to be featured in our overall "In the News" section, you will have to pay to promote this post, as this is not a free feature.
Can i change the background of my page?
Yes, if you don’t like our background - upload you own. The hard part here is that it sometimes is tricky to find a good image for these particular proportions. Nevertheless if you have a picture that you want to use as a background, email it to us, and we will change it for you.
Can i post about updates of my online store?
No, Welikeshopping is only for real stores, don’t publish any activities related to anything online. Next to the link for you website, you can put the link to your online store if you want to.
Can i post about a new store opening or an in-store event?
Yes, we will later add more categories (apart from sales, deal and new) to let you tell shoppers about more things. For now you can use “New” to tell about a new store opening.
How to select multiple stores for one activity?
To add a store for an activity simply do the same process twice. You have to first add one store (from the list), then go back to the list and click on another one if you need multiple stores. You can add as many stores as you want to.
